Two Made in the Midlands Patrons have concluded a successful collaboration that coincided with a major milestone for one of the companies.

Workwear supplier MyWorkwear consulted with Control Energy Costs (CEC) when it looked to save money on its energy costs, although at first it was unsure if it could help.

James Worthington, managing director of Telford-based MyWorkwear, said: "When we started to look into our energy use, we discovered that we had three gas meters. Two were sub meters and one a fiscal meter. We weren't sure which one was our landlord's.

"After many phone calls CEC were able to unravel the issue and calculate how much money MyWorkwear would save.

"We were delighted by what CEC were quoting, not only would we save money straight away, wel'll be saving for the next four years."

Liam Conway, Head of CEC Direct, said: "Most of our clients are large manufacturers. I was really pleased we were able to assist a fellow Patron unravel a complex billing and meter issue to their maximum benefit."
