MyWorkwear were happy to be chosen as the new workwear supplier for fellow MIM member Boneham & Turner Ltd. We spoke with MD Peter Boneham about why they chose MyWorkwear.
We felt that the quality of account management had dropped from the company we originally got our workwear from so decided to make a switch. As a fellow member of Made in the Midlands, we decided to try MyWorkwear. The service was great and MyWorkwear have responded quickly to any requirements or issues
Rebranding
Boneham & Turner are a leading manufacturer and supplier of tooling components and precision engineered components in the UK. They have recently made the decision to phase out contracted overalls and bring in new apparel. Production staff wear combat style work trousers, t-shirts and overalls for those that needed them. T-shirts and fleeces were also given to staff.
Whilst changing their workwear style Boneham & Turner also undertook a rebrand of their logo and introduced a new tagline Precision Engineered Solutions. Both helping to promote the ethos of a solution provider.
Since the change, they are pleased to say that, everyone has been happy with the quality and style of the clothing provided. The old overalls were very reminiscent of 1970s Boneham & Turner, and our organisation has come a long way since then, both in culture and in employee engagement and inclusion.
Making the change to MyWorkwear
Changing both workwear styles and logo can be quite a timely and stressful transition. However, Boneham & Turner found that the team at MyWorkwear made it simple and easy.
MyWorkwear were able to cross-reference current supplier items to make the transition very straightforward. Together with great customer service that has led to a speedy transaction said Peter.

Made in the Midlands is a Midlands manufacturing and engineering peer to peer membership association. With over 400 members from all tiers of automotive, aerospace, marine, defence, medical and other industry supply chains. They exist to unite Midlands industry. MyWorkwear have been a member of Made in the Midlands for a year and became a MIM Patron in 2018.
