MyWorkwear.co.uk is a growing web-based manufacturing business on Halesfield Industrial Estate, Telford. An opportunity has arisen for a motivated, customer focused individual to join our small yet fast paced Sales & Customer Service Team.

Due to a recent restructure, the business is working to continually improve operational processes and office efficiencies whilst maintaining an exceptional level of customer service.

You will report directly to the Managing Director and become a pivotal member of the organisation.

The Role:

  • Receive and process customer orders from various channels of enquiry, email, telephone and webchat
  • Provide sales quotations and proforma invoices on request
  • Follow up all sales enquiries
  • Assist customers with buying decisions demonstrating sound product knowledge
  • Respond to customer emails promptly
  • Ensure all order information is provided at point of handover to production department
  • Prepare delivery and invoice paperwork daily
  • Maintain a small number of key customer accounts
  • Work alongside the office team to continually develop office processes
  • Develop a strong product knowledge of manufactured and bought in products

The Person:

  • Experience of working in a busy office environment
  • A strong focus on providing excellent customer service
  • Organised with strong attention to detail, literate and numerate
  • Computer literate  – Email, web, Windows computers, Office type programs (SAGE experience would be advantageous)
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Ability to manage personal workload efficiently

The Package:

  • Permanent position
  • 9am – 5.30pm (Monday – Friday)
  • 22 days holiday (plus statutory)
  • Salary- Up to £17,500 depending on experience
